Legionella bacteria is wide spread in the environment and can be found in many water systems, both natural and man-made.
There is a risk that Legionella bacteria enters into the water systems of buildings, proliferates and then people come into contact with the bacteria.
AquaJorvik conduct a comprehensive Risk Assessment that will identify how significant that risk is, where potential problems could occur and give specific advice on how to manage and reduce that risk.
AquaJorvik's Legionella Risk Assessment along with effective control measures will ensure that the factors that allow Legionella bacteria to proliferate and spread will be significantly reduced. After our Risk Assessment, we provide a site-specific working document that shows the managers of the building all that needs to be done and how to comply with current regulations.

“Our Risk Assessment process has been developed in accordance with current recommended practices and guidelines (specifically the Health and Safety Executive’s Approved Code of Practice L8 – “Legionnaires' Disease: The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems.”)
